Next manager?
Personally I'd give Bilic till mid November to sort it out, but IF...

Then WHO?

Re: Next manager?
I think if we can get out of the bottom 3 he will be ok, owners panic when the club is below that red line. I think they will take into account the move and injuries etc as not helping, but if we lose to Palace and fail to beat Sunderland thenI think he will go, based on not looking like he's gonna turn it around.

Good post.

I agree that the owners are quite possibly creating a short list of Bilic replacements and if it were me I would be strongly sounding each of them as to their availability at the end of October.

As a team we are totally clueless, have absolutely no confidence and poor Slav twists and aches on the touchline in physical pain. It looks like he has a dodgy back and the stress he must be feeling really cannot be any good for either him or the team.

Our owners can see their investment evaporating and need to do something to protect them and us. It is a shame as Bilic was so good for West Ham last season, this season it seems he has drunk from the poisoned chalice.

Its a funny old game.

What the fuck is the obsession with Fat Sam from some people. He did a job. Barely.
We went for weeks without a decent result. We also had to endure endless performances which were far from acceptable.
Move on.
Still don't see the need for him to go but there are better choices available than the walrus, ffs.

Re: Next manager?
Poor old Slav I do feel for him but something definitely isn't right. The owners are particularly quiet at the moment no stupid statements or tweets.Would be sad if this is going to end up as I think it might. The track record of Bilic doesn't look good past one season. Can't honestly see him surviving unless he makes some bold decisions.

Re: Next manager?
I honestly don't know who I would replace Bilic with or whether they would be any better. But for those that actually see the games live there is clearly something wrong with his team selections, organisation, and lack of reaction when things aren't going well - Plan B.

I'm in no way putting him forward but Redknapp knew how to do all those things.

I actually sometimes wonder whether some of us could do a better job.

Palace were very good at Everton the other night. Pardew is excelling this season with gaps in his squad filled by excellent signings. The way we are performing at the moment,it will take a huge change in form to get a result.

Sackings are about to start in the Championship clubs. Not so sure when PL clubs will begin their cull.

Christmas?? That's fucking moons away in footbal terms. I reckon if we lose to Palace he'll be up against it big time.

Re: Next manager?
I’m hoping we can turn a corner, get back on track, if not by Christmas then it won’t be the board that see Slav go, reckon he’s the sort of bloke who would fall on his sword…

Maybe a long shot but there is that ex England manager with a reputation of saving clubs and never being relegated who is currently taking a break from the game?

Could see him coming in on a short term contract with a brief and a massive bonus to save us from the drop whilst we find a replacement for next season.

Hopefully it wont come to that, but to be honest I cant see much top drawer managers out there that would put there reputation on the line to join a sinking West Ham, no one wants a relegation on there CV no matter what the circumstance.

I wasn't impressed with us tbh
40% of the ball vrs a poor side
when we scored we never turned the screw because we wasn't capable
I was behind the team as always but fuck me it isn't good enough

I really cannot believe threads like this. I HATE the stadium and I HATE what tits is doing to this club. BUT I really saw the green shoots of progress today. Reid was exemplary for most part today so my mom.

Never thought I'd say this but noble has to be dropped, for a while at least. We were OK today

Re: Next manager?
We are not going to flip form in one fell swoop. It does not work like that. It will be a slow climb back to a safer position. Today was the beginning of that journey. We have Carroll, Cresswell and Ayew to come back as well. Changing manager whilst we are still in touch is risky. We are not like Villa were last season. They had finished the previous season pretty badly and carried it over and were several pundits choice for relegation. Changing manager made no difference to their plight.

Whilst a top eight sixty odd point season looks out of the question I can still see us climbing to a mid table position.

Re: Next manager?
Torn with this - I love Slav and gave me one of my favourite ever times supporting the club last season, however it's like he tried to play moneyball with footballers in the transfer market and is playing players based on stats or something very odd.

Square pegs, round holes, lack of balance.

Maybe he has this incredible vision that no one else sees and time will see it all come good. However I'm not so sure.

Every winnable game that we don't win spells trouble and I don't see the wins against the big boys at the moment.

If there isn't a big improvement after the break then there is a definite decision to be made.

Tore is easily the worse signing. in loan fee and wages he's probably cost us £2m already.

Re: Next manager?
I'd rather stick with the one we have but we need to know who is responsible for some of the transfers. Some are clearly Bilic's but Zaza is a bleeding liability.

You've had a mare there Len.

Marcelino, Mancini or Bielsa should at least get us organised.
